What we are good at:

  • Managing commodities with a high volume of transactions.  Typically, but not always, the transactions would be considered "low value" by most corporate standards.

  • Handling commodities that have presented problems to purchasing departments because of the high volume / low value proposition and / or the unique nature of the commodity, for example:  Corporate credit card purchases, declining purchase orders, non-generic spare parts, "one-off" supplier purchases, etc...

  • Determining the appropriate commodity strategy and buyer to be used in the procurement of a part and / or service, i.e. establishing what is being requested, who should buy it, and how.

  • Establishing a relationship with a variety of suppliers all over the world to insure the best price, quality, and lead time available.

  • Maintaining proper inventory levels, i.e. safety stock, JIT, order-on-request, etc...

  • Achieve 95% or better on-time delivery.

  • Provide 24/7 emergency service calls.
